Join the Lobby
Open the game URL and enter your username. The first player to join becomes the host. The host controls the game — everyone else waits in the lobby. Configure 1–5 rounds via the Settings ⚙️ menu (host only; default is 2 rounds).

Custom Category (Optional)
The host can create a custom trivia category from the 👑 Host Controls panel. If a custom category is set up, every player must answer 3 quick questions before the game can start — their answers become the trivia questions during play!

Taking Your Turn — Spin!
When it's your turn, press 🎰 Spin! to spin three slot reels. Each reel randomly lands on one of the 7 trivia categories or the Joker's Wild 🃏. Everyone else sees your spin result in real time.

How Points Are Calculated 🎰
Points are based on how many reels landed on the same category — each matching reel adds 50 pts:
| 1 reel matches | 50 pts |
| 2 reels match (same category) | 100 pts |
| 3 reels match (triple!) | 150 pts |

Joker's Wild 🃏
If any reel lands on Joker's Wild, all 7 categories become available to pick. Each Joker reel adds a +50 pt bonus to every category on top of any matching reels:
| 1 Joker (no other matches) | 50 pts per category |
| 1 Joker + 1 matching reel | 100 pts for that category |
| 2 Jokers | 100 pts per category |
| 3 Jokers (triple Joker!) | 150 pts per category |

Pick a Category
Select the category you want to answer. Without a Joker you can only choose from the categories that landed on the reels. The point value is shown on each button.

Answer the Question
Read the question on your screen and speak your answer aloud. You have 60 seconds. The answer is hidden from you but all other players can see it so they can judge.

Ask a Friend 🤝
During your 60 seconds you can press Ask a Friend and pick another player to help you. If the group votes Correct, you and your friend each earn half the points. If the answer is wrong, neither of you scores.

Voting
All other players vote: ✓ Correct, ✗ Incorrect, or ⚠ Bad Question. Votes resolve after 30 seconds or as soon as everyone has voted. Ties go to Correct.

Bad Question ⚠
If the majority votes Bad Question, no points are lost and the turn does not advance. A brand-new question from the same category is immediately chosen and voting starts fresh.

Scoring & Winning
A majority Correct vote earns you (and your friend, if any) the full points for that category. A majority Incorrect vote awards no points. After all rounds the player with the most points wins! 🏆
Categories are voted on by the players at the start of each game — the top 10 make the wheel, plus 🃏 Joker's Wild. If the host sets up a custom "get to know you" category, it takes the 10th slot.
🎲 How the question pool works
Questions are drawn from a shared pool. Once a question has been used in this room, it will not come up again in this room — so a long session keeps serving fresh material.
The pool is tracked per room. Starting a game in a different room gives you the full pool again, including everything already used here.
The host can wipe this room's used-question list from 👑 Host Controls → Question Pool, which makes every question available in this room again. That cannot be undone.
